Brain injury is referred to as the invisible disability. We know brain injury is far too often misunderstood. This can mean that people impacted by BI can find it harder to keep connected to the things we all find important, such as family and relationships, employment or managing the day-to-day pressures of life.
The e-learning course Impact of Brain Injury teaches how an injury affects the mind, body, and behaviour of a person with a brain injury. It also teaches students to identify and question what they might not have previously noticed in behavioural and psychological scenarios and support strategies across all areas and functions of society.
