Domestic and Family Violence & Brain Injury | Module 1: Experience of DFV victim-survivors

You’ll learn how to:

• Recognise when a client may be living with a brain injury.
• Understand screening versus diagnosis in practice.
• Adapt advocacy, communication and referral to better support victim-survivors.

This free course is designed to help you:

• Strengthen duty of care and risk management for people with disability experiencing DFV.
• Improve advocacy outcomes by recognising DFV-related injuries, including non-fatal strangulation.
• Support staff wellbeing through trauma-informed, reflective practice.
